Description The tenth installment in SNK's long running King of Fighters series, and the last KOF to appear on the Neo Geo system. This game's storyline focuses on the unexpected return of the Orochi power, who was thought to have been permenantly sealed away back in 1997 by Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami and Chizuru Kagura. It appears that someone has been tampering with the seal, however.

King of Fighters 2003 is the tenth (and final) King of Fighters game released on the Neo Geo platform.

If using Kawaks, press +/- to set the track to 0725, an alternate version of Adelheid's theme which leaves out the piano intro heard when fighting him in 1P mode. This version may have been intended for fights against him in 2P mode, as it will play if one were to fight him in any stage besides his own. But since Adelheid isn't even normally playable, the theme goes unused.
As for the procedure itself, it was very likely to follow suit with the theme of fellow boss Chizuru (who actually IS playable), seeing as her theme also has two such versions, the other playing during the hidden fight with Chizuru & Maki in 1P mode. Therefore, this may imply that Adelheid was to be playable as well.
Though partially used, this last segment is cut off before going back into the player select screen/order select screen. The extension is also heard in the official soundtrack.

Neo Geo – a system of arcade machines, released by SNK (Shin Nihon Kikaku) in October 1990 in Japan. But also the system has the full name of Neo Geo Multi Video System (abbreviated as Neo Geo MVS). Neo Geo means new world. Shortly after the release of MVS, SNK decided to conquest the market of home video games. Console called Neo Geo Advanced Entertainment System (Neo Geo AES) was released and it was completely identical to the arcade machine. The resemblance was in software and hardware configuration, however, had a different slot for cartridges. Obviously, SNK didn’t want that AES would be used as a gaming machine. Smart move, but still there were some enthusiasts who have created an adapter – Phantom MVS converter thingy. By the way, the price for home system was $500 which at that time considered a big amount of money. However, up to 4 people at once could play on it!
Neo Geo games offers the user a fairly high-quality 2D graphics and high quality sound. The game system was based on a 16-bit Motorola 68000 processor and an 8-bit Z80, which was used as an audio compressor. To create the sound effect optionally could be used 15-channel sound chip Yamaha YM2610. Neo Geo roms games can be played right on your home computer or smartphone/tablet running Android or iOS.
